The actress died Sunday morning in Los Angeles following a battle with cancer, her publicist told The Associated Press.

Wersching’s husband, Stephen Full, also confirmed the news in a statement obtained by Deadline.

“There is a cavernous hole in the soul of this family today. But she left us the tools to fill it,” the actor shared. “She found wonder in the simplest moment. She didn’t require music to dance. She taught us not to wait for adventure to find you. ‘Go find it. It’s everywhere.’ And find it we shall.”

He continued, “As I drove our boys, the true loves of her life, down the winding driveway and street, she would yell BYE! until we were out of earshot and into the world. I can still hear it ringing. Bye my Buddie. ‘I love you little family…’”

The type of cancer the actress was battling has yet to be revealed. Page Six has reached out to her rep for comment.

Shortly after news broke, plenty of stars took to social media to pay tribute to Wersching.

“We just lost a beautiful artist and human being. My heart is shattered. Thoughts are with her loved ones,” tweeted Neil Druckmann, who created “The Last of Us,” a video game that featured Wersching’s voice as the role of Tess.
